In my darkest moment, I made a decision that would transform my life: I chose to understand my body rather than fight against it. I immersed myself in studying exercise science, nutrition, and human physiology. This wasn't just about losing weight anymore—it was about comprehending the incredible machine that is the human body and learning how to optimize it.

 

Over two years, I embarked on a journey that would see me lose 60kg. But the numbers on the scale were just a small part of the story. With every training session, every meal plan, and every small victory, I was building more than muscle—I was building a new identity. I was becoming stronger, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.

In 2018, my personal transformation led to an unexpected opportunity: a position at the very gym where I had started my journey. It felt like coming full circle, but this time, I wasn't the one seeking guidance—I was the one providing it. This transition from trainee to trainer gave me unique insight into the challenges my clients face.

My declining physical health began to impact every aspect of my life, draining energy and dimming my outlook on the future. I found myself trapped in a darkness that seemed to have no end, turning to unhealthy coping mechanisms that only deepened my struggles. I reached a point where simply existing felt like too heavy a burden to bear.
